Member Program: Tour of “Enduring Traditions: Celebrating the World of Textiles”

Members are invited to join curators Shelley Burian, Sumru Belger Krody and Lee Talbot for an exclusive look at the museum's second centennial exhibition, Enduring Traditions: Celebrating the World of Textiles. Members will learn about ways textiles reflect the traditions of communities across the globe through masterpieces such as Chinese minority textiles, a family heirloom sari, a dazzling embroidered “suzani” from Uzbekistan and traditional garments from throughout Latin America.
Another member tour will be offered on Friday, August 15, at 1 p.m.
This program is part of The Textile Museum’s centennial celebrations in 2025.
