Textile Research Day
Hosted by the museum's Arthur D. Jenkins Library, Textile Research Day is an annual program that features the research of university students studying textiles. Topics range from textiles in the museum collections to fashion, costume, textile conservation, dye analysis, sustainability and more. Each researcher gives a brief presentation of their topic, followed by questions from the audience. Students can meet others interested in textiles and network with professionals in the fields of decorative arts, art history and museum studies. Join us in person at the museum or register to watch the livestream online.
This program is part of The Textile Museum’s centennial celebrations in 2025.
How to Submit a Presentation
Students, recent graduates and emerging researchers who are interested in presenting should email [email protected] with a presentation title and 200-word abstract. The deadline for submissions is March 7, 2025.
